This short, 5-minute workout is a great way to start the day with some movement. It will get your blood flowing, loosen up your muscles for an energetic day, and put you in a productive, can-do mood!!! 

Exercise is a must when it comes to a healthy lifestyle, so try to add 30 minutes of some form of cardio to your lifestyle, three or so times a week - I love walking, as you can do it most anywhere, very little equipment is required, and it's free! Then add in two days of strength training - you can use hand weights, cans of soup or water bottles, or even use your own body weight as resistance, by doing lunges and push ups. Round that out with some balance and flexibility moves such as yoga and Pilates, and your new year workout routine is set!
